The essentials
- Fifty to sixty minutes from PUJ in normal traffic.
- The last stretch is secondary road: at night it is driven more slowly.
- There is little on offer outside the resorts, so plan your outings.
- For the return, work the transfer into the time you leave for the airport.
Uvero Alto is the northern end of the tourist coast: long beaches, more surf, and a line of resorts spaced well apart. People who choose it are usually after exactly that. What is worth planning around is that it sits an hour from the airport — and that hour shows up in every plan of the trip, not just the arrival.
The run from PUJ
The route leaves the airport heading north, skirts the Bávaro zone and continues on ordinary road into Uvero Alto. In normal conditions that is fifty to sixty minutes. The last stretch is narrower and less lit than the main road, so an experienced chauffeur slows down at night: that is not delay, it is judgement.

Planning the return

- 2Subtract an hour of road, or a little more if you leave in the morning peak.
- 3Add margin for hotel check-out, which is rarely instant.
- 4Confirm the pick-up time with us the day before.
